ARGUS Z is designed to bring into a pocket format a combination that is rare today: LWIR thermal imaging, 3D LiDAR and self-recharging persistent surveillance. The design target is to compete on capability, not on price.
Orbits the target, lands itself on the inductive pad and resumes the mission: cyclic surveillance, with no operator.
If the signal is lost, it retraces its track to return, even in degraded environments.
Sees by day and by night: a 4K sensor paired with long-wave thermal for search, security and emergencies.
3D MEMS LiDAR for mapping and obstacle avoidance, with an environment-aware planner.
Detection, SLAM and tracking are designed to be processed onboard (15 TOPS): the architecture does not provide for sending mission data to cloud services.
Docking to the pad with multi-stage guidance and inductive charging, for uninterrupted cycles.
The combination of thermal imaging, LiDAR, AI autonomy and persistent SENTINEL surveillance makes ARGUS Z suitable for very different professional scenarios. A few examples:
Bridges, viaducts, power lines and plants: the thermal camera spots hot spots and defects, while 4K and LiDAR document condition without stopping operations.
The LWIR thermal camera is intended to detect people in the dark or amid vegetation; SENTINEL is designed to maintain persistent coverage over the search area.
Persistent autonomous surveillance with self-recharge: perimeters, sensitive sites, construction sites and events, with no fixed operator.
Crop and water-stress monitoring with the thermal camera, field mapping and land oversight.
3D surveys with LiDAR, site-progress tracking, roof and façade inspection, and material for maps and property tours.
Inspection of photovoltaic plants (faulty cells via thermal), wind blades, pylons and substations, safely.
Thermal search for missing persons, wildfire hot-spot detection, and rapid mapping of affected or at-risk areas.
Stabilized 4K footage and autonomous subject tracking, with a pocketable drone ready in seconds.
Advanced functions (audio, silhouette detection and restricted capabilities) will be enabled only for verified, authorized profiles, according to the intended use and in compliance with the personal-data protection regulations applicable in the country of use. All values are product-level design targets, not measurements on flight hardware, and will be confirmed at qualification. Detailed specifications and components are confidential.

ARGUS Z is a pocket-size quadcopter micro-drone, currently in development. The Scout version carries the 4K camera only; the Sentinel versions add LWIR thermal imaging, 3D LiDAR, on-board intelligence (15 TOPS) and SENTINEL persistent autonomous surveillance. The mass and EASA class of each configuration will be declared at product qualification.
Prices have not yet been announced. They will be published at the opening of the civil pre-order, expected in September 2026, together with the full sales terms. The three configurations Scout, Sentinel and Sentinel+ will have increasing prices according to the sensors included.

In a pocket-size platform (140 mm folded), ARGUS Z in the Sentinel versions is designed to combine LWIR thermal imaging, 3D LiDAR and self-recharging persistent autonomous surveillance (SENTINEL), with on-board data processing. The design choice is to compete on capability, not on price.
Yes, it is planned for the Sentinel versions: the design provides for an LWIR thermal camera alongside the 4K sensor, to operate day and night in search and rescue, security and emergencies. The lighter Scout version is optical only.
