For intelligence agencies and governments

Antares Romulos The picture, before the decision.

The analytic platform with ANTARES integrated, installed inside the agency’s perimeter.

Available to government agencies, on request

Open sources and agency material, in a single analytic system. Every item keeps its source and its marking. Every estimate is labelled and checked over time. Every access stays on record.

Globe

The world, in a single operational view.

Conflict, natural hazards, satellites, aircraft and vessels, cameras: every layer on the same globe, with each source’s status and delay always visible.

Maps

From the continent to the strait.

A 10-metre Sentinel-2 mosaic over cities, ports and airfields. Recent imagery with the agency’s credentials.

States

Every state, read by domain.

Political, military, economic, social, information, infrastructure and energy: conflict pressure, trend, relations and official indicators with year and source. State-level data only.

Dynamics

Relations between states, measured.

Cooperation and conflict by tone and volume, across the whole area of interest: EU, eastern neighbourhood, Balkans, North Africa, Middle East and Gulf, Sahel and Horn of Africa, Arctic.

Analysis

ANTARES integrated.

EMT’s analysis engine runs inside the agency’s perimeter. It summarises, answers by citing the items it received and proposes links with their evidence.

  • Produces structured analysis with sources and indicators to watch.
  • Estimates are labelled as such and a ledger tracks their calibration over time.
  • Every proposal remains a suggestion. The assessment belongs to the analyst.

Method

From requirement to brief.

  1. Direction

Collection requirements, indicators and warnings. Areas and states under continuous server-side watch, with marked alerts.

  2. Collection

A continuous stream of events and news, official feeds chosen by the agency, connectors under the agency’s licences, ingestion of CSV, JSON, GeoJSON, text and PDF.

  3. Processing

Typed ontology, source grading (reliability A–F, credibility 1–6), provenance by file and row, duplicate merging with no data loss.

  4. Analysis

Link graph, timeline, competing-hypotheses matrix, cases with need-to-know and a decision log.

  5. Dissemination

Daily summary and briefs in PDF or HTML, with the marking at the top and bottom of every page and portion markings.

  6. Oversight

A complete record available to the oversight body, verifiable and exportable.

Classification

The agency’s classification scales, not ours.

Ready schemes, or the agency’s own levels, with compartments. Nobody can mark above their own clearance. The banner always shows the highest marking on screen.

  • RISERVATISSIMO

NATO

  • NATO UNCLASSIFIED

Audit

Every access leaves a trace.

Every read, search, export, analysis and administrative action enters an append-only log, with a verifiable hash chain.

Security

Locked down by design.

Isolation
Each agency is isolated down to the database, with forced row-level security.
Accounts
No public sign-up. Accounts are created by the agency’s administrator.
Access
Passkeys required. Step-up for exports and sensitive actions.
Authorisation
Roles, clearance, compartments, need-to-know by case. Administrators do not read intelligence by default.
Encryption
Secrets sealed with AES-256-GCM, with the key outside the database. TLS with the agency’s certificate.
Network
Egress allowlist. No telemetry. No external client assets.
Legal basis
Aircraft, vessels and cameras stay off until the agency records a justification and a legal reference. Every access is audited.
Four eyes
Available at the agency’s choice: exports and the legal basis then need a second person’s approval.

Limits

No street-level imagery. No plate reading. No face recognition. No feature that identifies or follows private individuals.

Deployment

Inside the agency’s perimeter.

  • On-premise

In the agency’s data centres, on an encrypted volume, with the agency’s certificate and keys.

  • Sovereign cloud

On a sovereign cloud qualified for the agency’s data, with the key from its KMS or HSM.

  • Air-gapped

Nothing leaves. The agency’s material, the engine and the offline base map remain.

Frequently asked questions

What agencies ask.

What is Antares Romulos?

An analytic platform for intelligence agencies and governments, designed and built by EMT Aerospace Technologies. It is a separate product from the consumer ANTARES app and shares no code with it.

Who can request it?

Government and intelligence agencies. There is no public sign-up: every request is preceded by screening of the body, end user, end use and destination and by the applicable authorisations.

How is a demonstration requested?

From the Contact page, stating the requesting body and the purpose.

Where does the data reside?

On the infrastructure chosen by the agency: on-premise, on a sovereign cloud or air-gapped. The platform sends no telemetry.

How does ANTARES operate?

As a self-hosted service inside the agency’s perimeter. It cites only the items it received and every proposal remains a suggestion for the analyst. Without the engine, extractive summaries and search remain available.

Which classification schemes are supported?

Italy, NATO and the European Union, or the agency’s own levels, with compartments and need-to-know by case. Accrediting the system rests with the agency and the competent authorities.

Does it work without a connection?

Yes, in air-gapped mode. Nothing leaves: external sources are out of reach, and the agency’s material, the engine and the offline base map remain.

Who oversees the use of the platform?

The agency and its oversight body. Every action enters an append-only log with a hash chain, verifiable and exportable. Aircraft, vessels and cameras require a recorded legal basis.

Can it identify or follow people?

No. It offers no street-level imagery, plate reading or face recognition. Conflict layers drop actor names and public figures are handled by public role only.

Is EMT Aerospace Technologies registered in the NATO Codification System?

EMT Aerospace Technologies S.r.l. — NCAGE AY475. Code assigned by the Italian Ministry of Defence within the NATO Codification System. The company is registered as a service provider (type G), with a unique identifier used in international supply chains that adopt the NATO Codification System. Is EMT Aerospace Technologies registered in ESA-star?

EMT Aerospace Technologies S.r.l. — European aerospace, robotics and artificial intelligence company. Registered in ESA-star · ESA Entity Code 1000053154.

Available to government agencies, on request.

Every request is preceded by screening of the body, end user, end use and destination and by the applicable authorisations. Ethics & export

Real screens of the platform, with public data aggregated at state level, generated automatically from the sources on 1 November 2026: they express no assessment by EMT and contain no agency data. Accrediting a system for classified information rests with the agency and the competent authorities. Known limitations and the terms status of each source are documented and shared during evaluation.
